What is San Jaime in Moraira?
San Jaime is a quiet residential area on the southern side of Moraira, close to the border with Benissa Costa. The neighbourhood was developed around Club de Golf Ifach and is characterised mainly by detached villas on generous plots, mature trees and relatively peaceful residential streets.
Unlike staying directly in Moraira town centre, San Jaime gives you more space around the property and a greater sense of privacy. At the same time, beaches, supermarkets, restaurants and Moraira itself remain only a short drive away. That combination is precisely why San Jaime has remained popular with families, couples and guests staying outside the main summer season.
Where is San Jaime?
San Jaime lies between Moraira and Benissa Costa, around Club de Golf Ifach. Depending on the exact location of your villa, Moraira town centre is approximately 3 to 3.5 kilometres away.
From San Jaime you can easily reach:

San Jaime is primarily a residential neighbourhood rather than a busy tourist centre. The area consists mainly of detached villas, often with private gardens and swimming pools.
That makes it particularly attractive if you prefer peaceful mornings, relaxed afternoons beside your own pool and a little more privacy than you would normally find in the centre of Moraira.

Close to Club de Golf Ifach
One of the characteristics that sets San Jaime apart from other areas of Moraira is Club de Golf Ifach. The 9-hole golf course sits directly within the San Jaime area and several of our villas are only a short distance from the clubhouse.
Villa Naranja is particularly unusual: the property directly overlooks the 5th hole of the golf course. Even if you do not play golf, the course contributes to the green and open character of this part of Moraira.
A convenient position between Moraira and Benissa Costa
From San Jaime, you are not restricted to one part of the coastline. Head towards Moraira for the town centre, marina and L’Ampolla beach, or in the opposite direction towards the coves and coastal paths of Benissa Costa.
That makes San Jaime a particularly practical base for guests who enjoy exploring different beaches, restaurants and parts of the coastline during their stay.
A good choice for families
The combination of quiet residential streets, detached villas, private pools and generous outdoor areas makes San Jaime particularly attractive for families. Several of our villas also have layouts where the pool is clearly visible from terraces or outdoor seating areas.
Of course, children should always be actively supervised around a swimming pool.
Beaches near San Jaime
San Jaime itself is not directly on the beach, but several very different beaches and coves can be reached easily.
L’Ampolla
L’Ampolla is Moraira’s main sandy beach, located beside the town centre and castle. It is a good choice for families and can easily be combined with lunch, shopping or a walk through Moraira.
Cala l’Andragó
Cala l’Andragó is one of the most popular coastal areas between San Jaime and Moraira. The rocky cove is surrounded by several restaurants and bars and is particularly enjoyable for combining time beside the Mediterranean with lunch or dinner overlooking the water.
Cala Baladrar
In the opposite direction, Cala Baladrar lies on the Benissa Costa. This attractive cove is known for its clear water and is popular for swimming and snorkelling.
El Portet
El Portet is one of Moraira’s best-known bays. Its sheltered setting, clear Mediterranean water and beachfront restaurants make it well worth visiting even if you are staying on the opposite side of Moraira.
Having a villa in San Jaime means all of these different coastal areas remain within easy reach.

You do not need to drive into central Moraira every time you want to eat out or buy groceries.

Villa Lara

Villa Lara feels particularly spacious, both inside and outside. Its large covered front terrace of more than 26 m² is one of its strongest features, with views towards the Mediterranean. At the rear is the private swimming pool and there is also a rooftop terrace. Villa Lara sits directly next door to Villa Alicia, making the two properties an interesting combination for larger families or friends who want to holiday together while keeping their own accommodation.
Best for: space, privacy, sea views and two families travelling together.
Villa Rosana

Villa Rosana is one of the largest properties in San Jaime. The villa normally accommodates 6 guests across its internally connected living levels. For 7 or 8 guests, a separate lower apartment can be added. The large approximately 5 × 10 metre swimming pool and panoramic views towards the Mediterranean and Peñón de Ifach are major highlights.
Best for: larger families, panoramic views and a particularly large swimming pool.
Villa Naranja

Villa Naranja sits at the end of a quiet cul-de-sac and directly overlooks the 5th hole of Club de Golf Ifach. The Mediterranean garden, kidney-shaped pool, outdoor kitchen and rooftop terrace give the villa a relaxed Spanish atmosphere. All 3 bedrooms also have large box-spring beds.
Best for: golfers, privacy, outdoor living and open golf-course views.
Villa Maia

Villa Maia is particularly attractive for guests who value peace and views across the surrounding hills. After a small number of access steps, the main accommodation is arranged on one level. The pergola beside the terrace is one of our favourite places to sit towards the end of the day and enjoy the changing light across the landscape.
Best for: tranquillity, mountain views and 3 bathrooms.
Villa El Nido

Villa El Nido is one of our strongest choices for families or groups of up to 8 guests. The large covered outdoor kitchen with barbecue and long dining table sits close to the 8 × 4 metre private pool and naturally becomes the centre of outdoor holiday life. The main bedroom upstairs also enjoys views towards the Mediterranean and Peñón de Ifach.
Best for: 8 guests, outdoor cooking and spending most of the holiday outside.
Villa Annamar

Villa Annamar combines some of the strongest features in our San Jaime collection. The villa is arranged completely without steps across the main living and outdoor areas and has a large 9 × 5 metre saltwater pool that can be heated. From the living areas, covered naya and pool terrace you can enjoy panoramic views across the Mediterranean towards the Peñón de Ifach.
Best for: panoramic views, step-free living and a heatable pool.
What can you do around San Jaime?
San Jaime is a convenient base for much more than simply relaxing beside the pool. During your stay you can:
- play a round at Club de Golf Ifach
- walk sections of the Benissa coastal path
- swim or snorkel in Cala Baladrar
- visit Cala l’Andragó for lunch or dinner
- spend the day at L’Ampolla or El Portet
- visit Moraira marina

San Jaime for golfers
If golf is part of your holiday, San Jaime is an obvious area to consider. Club de Golf Ifach is a 9-hole course surrounded by Mediterranean vegetation and sits directly within the neighbourhood. Several of our villas are close enough to make getting to the course particularly easy.
Villa Naranja has the strongest golf connection because its garden directly overlooks the 5th hole. Villa Maia, Villa El Nido and Villa Annamar are also particularly conveniently located for the golf club. And because Moraira and the coastline remain nearby, non-golfing members of the family certainly do not need to spend their holiday waiting at the clubhouse.
