This is where it is worth being realistic. Moraira becomes considerably busier during summer, while the number of available taxis is limited. At popular times, demand can be higher than supply. For shorter journeys, there is often another useful option during summer. In 2026, a free summer bus operated between Teulada, Moraira and several beaches and coves, including:

• L’Andragó

The service is confirmed separately each year. For a beach day in July or August, it can be easier than trying to find a taxi at the busiest time of day.

Do you need a car in Moraira?

If you are staying in Moraira town centre, you can walk to many places and use taxis or Uber for occasional journeys. If you are staying in a villa in areas such as San Jaime, Benimeit, Moravit or Benissa Costa, we generally recommend a rental car. Taxis and Uber are useful for evenings out, but during the high season we would not rely on them as your only form of transport for the entire holiday.
