Sports in summer and winter

One of the advantages of Moraira is that staying active is not limited to the summer months.

During summer, swimming, paddleboarding, diving and other water sports are obvious choices. For padel, golf, cycling and walking, we prefer early morning or later in the day.

During winter, golf, walking, cycling, tennis and padel become particularly attractive because daytime temperatures are usually much more comfortable for outdoor exercise.

This makes Moraira suitable not only for summer holidays but also for longer stays outside the main season.

Our tip

There is no need to turn your holiday into a training camp. That is precisely what makes Moraira appealing: go cycling, walking, paddleboarding or play padel in the morning, then enjoy a long lunch by the sea afterwards. And if your sporting ambitions mysteriously disappear after lunch, we simply call that adapting to the Spanish lifestyle.
