Beniconnect shuttle

The Costa Connect shuttle operated by Beniconnect is usually the most affordable option if you do not want to rent a car. The service operates throughout the year and currently costs from around €35.63 per person. As this is a shared transfer, there may be some waiting time at Alicante Airport before departure. In Moraira, Beniconnect uses several fixed stops, including:

  • Cala L’Andragó
  • La Senieta
  • Pan y Pan
  • Pepe la Sal

You are therefore not automatically dropped directly outside every villa or apartment.
Our tip: particularly useful for one or two people staying in or close to central Moraira.

Private transfer from Alicante to Moraira

If you prefer to travel directly from the airport to your villa or apartment, a private transfer is more convenient. Current options include:

You book a vehicle in advance for your own party and the driver meets you at Alicante Airport. For families, larger groups or travellers with plenty of luggage, this is usually the most comfortable option. Minibuses are also available.
Our tip: if you are travelling with four people or more, compare the total cost of a private transfer with buying several individual shuttle tickets.

Child seats & extra luggage

Travelling with young children? Mention this when booking so the correct child seat can be arranged. It is also sensible to inform the transfer company in advance if you are bringing:

  • a pushchair
  • golf clubs
  • bicycles
  • several large suitcases

This allows them to provide a suitable vehicle.

Transfer or rental car?

If you are staying in Moraira town centre, you can walk to many restaurants, shops and beaches. An airport transfer combined with the occasional taxi or Uber may be all you need. If you are staying in a villa in areas such as San Jaime, Moravit, Benimeit or Benissa Costa, we generally find a rental car more convenient.

Our tip

For one or two people, Beniconnect is usually the most economical option. If convenience is more important, you are travelling as a family or your accommodation is outside the centre, we would choose a private transfer. After a flight, getting into one vehicle at the airport and stepping out at your holiday home is sometimes exactly the kind of efficiency a holiday needs.
