The most beautiful natural parks of the Costa Blanca
Sierra de Mariola
This natural park on the Costa Blanca of just over 17,000 hectares is a kind of mountain range. This park includes the source of the main river of Alicante called Vinalopó. The natural park is fairly recent, dating from 2002. The highest mountain is this area is 1389 meters high and is called Mont Cabrer.
Font Roja natural park on the Costa Blanca
The natural park is just under 3000 hectares, making it a fairly small park and is located in Alcoy. The park was already declared a natural park in 1987.
Bike route Marjal Pego-Olivia
The swamp of Pego-Oliva is a unique eco-system with many rice fields. The blue cycling route of about 30 kilometers passes the Mustalla, Migidia and Segaria mountains, as well as the Bullens and Racons rivers.
Peñon de Ifach

Serra Gelada Natural Park on the Costa Blanca
This natural park on the Costa Blanca is located near Benidorm/Altea. It is a mountain and marine reserve of just under 6,000 hectares. The cliffs here are as high as 300 meters. At the bottom of cliffs live many fish, shellfish and crustaceans.

The cuevas por El Montgó
This is the tip of the Montgó in Javea. After this, the mountain disappears into the sea. Because of this, there are several hiking routes to caves that give beautiful views of the Mediterranean Sea. For example, you can hike to Cova de L’Aigua or to Cova del Garnell or Cova Tallada.
Las Salinas de Santa Pola
This unique natural park on the Costa Blanca near Santa Pola is known for the concentration of salt that makes the micro-universe create unique colors. The lagunas are colored pink by the Dunaliella salina algae. Combined with water birds such as the flamingos, this piece of nature is unique.
Lagunas de La Mata
This natural park near Torrevieja can be compared to Mars. Here are old salt mines that turn the lagunas pink in the evening hours. Especially at sunrise and sunset, the colors of the lagunas are beautiful and, according to many, otherworldly.
