Culinary Moraira
Fine dinning in and around Moraira?
Moraira has many different restaurants. You can enjoy the many dishes that Spanish cuisine has, such as paella, fresh fish and shellfish. Meat lovers will also appreciate Spanish cuisine. How about a leg of lamb or a leg of goat. Certainly the latter is not often found on the menu in England, but the taste is delicious. Real finger licking food!
Restaurants
There are many unique locations in the immediate vicinity. Comfortable terraces, overlooking the sea, dining on the beach, in a bay, on a square or on the shopping street, these are just a few possibilities! In addition to Spanish cuisine, other cuisines are also represented. Think of Italian, French, Chinese Indian and even the Dutch satay sauce is on the menu in some restaurants!
Interior of Spain
If you want to experience something different. Then go out with the rental car and drive inland. Here you will find mainly typical Spanish restaurants. The menu will only be in Castilian (Spanish) or Valencian, but most likely they will also offer a ‘menu del dia’.
This is the inexpensive, daily changing ‘day menu’. Don’t be surprised if you pay 10 euros for this menu and then get a starter, main course and dessert served. Even a glass of wine and coffee is often included. Suppose you don’t like the food so much because it’s not your taste, then you’re still an experience richer! The quality of these restaurants is usually fine and you will be surprised by the real Spanish cooking skills.
Wine list with dinner?
If you are a wine lover, you will look at the wine list in Spain with a smile. A lot of red and white wines are produced in Spain, which also ensures that the wines can be offered for a favorable price. So don’t be surprised if you pay 15 euros for a very good wine here, where you would just have to pay double in Great Britain. So that will be enjoying under the Spanish Sun with a Spanish wine! Hello!
Dining in Moraira?
There are approximately 150 restaurants in the center of Moraira and around it. That makes it almost impossible to choose a suitable restaurant for dinner. Just like in the Netherlands, there are also outliers in Spain. Some restaurants even have a Michelin star. But the majority of restaurants simply serve excellent food, but have not yet been discovered by Michelin. As said, the choice is huge! I think that all parts of the world are represented in Moraira. So think about what you want to eat tonight and then think about where you want to sit? On a square, by the sea, on the boulevard or in the mountains. The choice of food is huge!
